2021 Star Chart in Chinese Almanac

One of my favourite book – the Chinese Almanac. It is a MUST READ book for me every year as i try to seek out the hidden meanings behind this ancient book. Previous years, I have posted some translations with regards to the Year Ox diagram which serves to provide some indication for the year. Well, this year, to do something different, I’ve picked out the 2021 Star Chart within the book to get some insights on the forecast of the 12 Chinese Astrological Zodiacs.

Star Chart found in the Chinese Almanac 通胜 2021

Every year, metaphysics practitioners will use various methods of forecasting techniques to find out the various luck experienced by the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs. All of us are grouped into 12 of these animal signs according to our birth year. The zodiacs are the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and finally the Boar. Each animal has its representative elements and within the animal sign – there is a subset of Heavenly stems which further defines the zodiac. In the year of 2021, we will experience the Year of the Yin Metal Ox.

The Metal Ox indicates the presence of the elements of Metal and Earth. At first glance, we will notice that since Earth element produces Metal, 2021 will be a year where Metal is very strong. However we also have to consider the Earth element in the Ox contains another 3 hidden elements such as Earth, Water and Metal. From this we can infer that both Water and Metal elements will exert much influence in the year.

Chinese Metaphysics is always so full of intricate calculations. Just deciphering from the year stem is too general. This is the same concept as we can’t just conclude that the luck of all humans are divided into 12 groups, isn’t it! However, it does provide some general guidelines to those who are interested and it is always fun to know!

Just as a teaser, i will be doing the 12 Zodiac forecasts this year based on this Star Chart for some entertaining posts going forward. For those who are unsure of your zodiac signs, especially if you are born in the months of January or February, feel free to comment or post me a shout-out – I’ll try my best to answer you…. hopefully in time. (ps. i’m trying to be oblivious to my backlogs)

Meanwhile, watch out on this space & wishing you good luck everyday!

  1. Thank you so much!

This has been a tough year for the world. Let’s hope that 2021 will be better. Please find some obscure, hidden code that says that.

Thanks again for your wonderful e-mail.

    Kind regards,
