Oops, ok this year i’m late to post …. hmm… better to be late than never i guess haha. The year of the Metal Rat has been kinda a roller coaster ride for most of us and seem the after effects are still lingering in many parts of the world. Nevermind that, let’s all look forward to the coming year of the Metal Ox in 2021!

For those who are avid practitioner of Feng Shui like myself, I love to shift or decorate some auspicious items that will magnify the good energy found in certain sectors of the house. Accordingly, I will try to minimize my usage of the areas where inauspicious energies are located. To do this, just follow the Flying Star Chart of the Year!

This is the Flying Star Chart for 2021 which becomes valid on 3 Feb mid-night 2021 till 4 Feb 2022 4am-ish.

So how to use? Where are the lucky areas? yes yes….. walk to the centre of the house, whip out your compass (errhh…. i guess these days you can use the compass apps on your phone… however, i’m still the old economy that uses a regular compass) and determine where is the North, South, East, West of your house. Ok. i do have some friends that tell me, “ohh the sun rises from the East, so this is my East” …. well… sometimes it is better to get something to verify upon rather than relying on your sense of direction…. and the sun rays are quite ……wide.

Show me the Money! Look at where the number 8 is located – Yes the West! Indeed, West is the wealth sector in 2021. Hence for those born under the signs of the Rooster, you probably get some wealth luck coming your way in 2021 without really doing anything. For the rest of us, lets see what we can do to “activate” this sector. Auspicious items fengshui items such as water fountains, or even posters with such attributes are great! If the door of your house or apartment faces the west, congrats, you do not need to do anything, money comes in your way!

Next, the Victory Star 1. The South sector has the number 1 star which signifies victory. If you have a door facing South, again you do not need to do anything, just still back and chill!! For those who are in business, you might want to place a beautiful horse in the South to activate this energy. South belongs to the sector for the Horse, so it is always good to have a Victory Horse around!

Star 9, the future prosperity star. This star brings about the long-term investment returns in your life. Star 9 is also the next period star, hence it is very powerful after year 2024 where it will bring tremendous auspicious energy. However, North-East is the sector of the Tai Sui Deity this year, so we will not really activate it with loud sounds as such. If you would like to do some activation, just place some auspicious items in the set of 9 such as 9 gold bars (haha, just joking …. just 9 beautiful items) will do the trick.

For those who are looking to excel in academic endeavors, you will need Star 4 which is located in the East. This year perhaps we will probablily have a couple of rabbit year-born scholars! For the rest of us, to tap on to this strong academic wood sector to increase our wisdom or intelligence, you can place 4 stalks of bamboo shoots in a glass of clear water. Items which are related to academic progress such as books, pens etc are also helpful.

Finally the center star 6! Star 6 is the luck from Heaven which also indicates that houses that lies along the EAST-WEST axis will be quite auspicious this year!! Since it is right in the center, most probably you will activate it every other day as you will be walking around, across your house everyday!!

So simple right! Great!
