Auspicious Hair Cut Days in June 2020 & Special Dates!

Hope everyone is coping well in this challenging period! With the gradual re-starting of businesses and hair salons, hope this post comes in handy for you to plan your trip for a cool hair cut!

This June is quite special and I would like to highlight 3 days in this month that we will be experiencing some spectacular vibes. Hopefully this brings some positivism to all as we combat with the worrisome virus that is still hiding within the community.

On 5 June 2020, to many Tibetan Buddhists, it is a special day – The Saka Dawa Day. Incidentally, there is a lunar eclipse happening on this day and it means that all karmic actions are multiplied 700 thousand times (during the period of the eclipse) on top of the fact that it is a merit-multiplying day. Wow, it might be good for all to do something nice and positive this day to gain some merit!

Following week on 20 June 2020, the star of Heavenly Pardon visits us again. For those who are familiar, yes, indeed this is one of the few days in the year where we can ask for forgiveness. Depending on your current circumstances, perhaps this time, just look up to the sky to say a word of “Thanks!” might be a better option then to go to your place of worship.

Further, on the next day on 21 June 2020, we have the solar eclipse where this constitutes merit multiplying day where the karmic actions are multiplied 100 million times(during the period of the eclipse) ! Wowowow…. now this June really makes me feel so excited!

Just a note, as with all eclipses, it is not advisable to view them, hence, just stay indoors and be good ok?! haha this sounds naggy….well, in such dangerous times, perhaps it’s better to be safe than sorry. This solar eclipse will bring about some turbulent times in the areas of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Chengdu (also some central belt/zones in China), Delhi, Oman (some parts of UAE) and certain parts in Africa. If you are residing in such areas, please take care of your personal safety.

For the Fengshui enthusiasts: Do also take precautions in the East (Star 2: Sickness star is visiting) and also in the NorthWest (Star 5: Misfortune star is visiting). This also means those who are born in the year of the Rabbit – please take care of your health. For those who are born in the year of the Dog – stay safe and avoid dangerous exercises?! As the main yearly star still resides in the South, for those born in the year of the Horse, you still need to be on guard as usual.

Nevertheless, let’s all do our part in social distancing and social responsibility. Perhaps also be more tolerant or and not so judgmental of others as one can never be sure how tough it has been for another.

Wishing you good luck everyday! Cheers.
