One of my Japanese friend casually told me that, infact, the 1st Heavenly Pardon Date of the year is also known in Japan as an auspicious wallet-changing day! Haha! This is kinda fun. Apparently you are supposed to change into your new wallet on this date for fresh new money coming in! Such a wonderful idea for the use of the Heavenly Pardon Day!
Maybe it’s time for me to get a new wallet hahahaha or maybe a BAG (to hold more cash hahaha oops I forgot to ask her if a bigger bag volume will correspondingly attracts more cash?? i’m thinking real hard now of any correlation/ connections to this theory hahaha)
For the benefit of the new readers, each year there are a couple of days where the Heavenly Pardon Star reigns in the sky. On such a day, it is auspicious to conduct most activities as with this Star in-command of the day means that any wrong doings are forgiven. Hence, it is good to ask for forgiveness (from the universe?) or make good wishes or prayers on such a day.
So how to do it? Easy, just look up into the sky and make your wish.
If you have an altar, it is a good day to do some offerings or general cleaning.
