With the Prosperity Star 8 @ the South, suddenly the next most popular question i get is: “so which horse should i buy??!!” Then i realised that …. oh yah, there’s really a myriad of horse figurines in the Feng Shui world that are sold in the shops. So hopefully, this post will help to serve some answers to your questions on the horses.
The Feng Shui world is indeed creative with symbolism, from traditional horses to ones that sound really auspicious as in literally translated ones to be created alongside with the simple horse figurine.
Here are some pics of the Horses that are popping in my mailbox on how how how??!!
The Victory Horse
Guess this is the most common horse you see with the horse in great dynamo, exuding some very strong confidence in winning the race. Hence this is classified as the Victory Horse that symbolises victory over your competitors. Those in very competitive business nature or careers would probably wanna invest in such a Horse, that depicts success in their endeavour.
Running Horses – in a painting
I always see this very magnificent paintings in large boardrooms where indeed it brings out the maximum Yang (male/ positive) energy at the location it is placed. Horse is a symbol of Yang energy – strong positive life force, hence with so many horses running, it is activating all the fame and good fortune that is in the sector
Tribute Horse
Here’s the horse you will see with gold ingots or some treasure chest on its back. Well well, it is trotting slowly back home, carrying all the wealth that is received. Hence it symbolises some keeping times!! There is a wise saying that i once heard -> anyone can earn money but who actually can save them? the one that can is the one that is truly wealthy. Perhaps this statement says it all!
Noticed some animals/ insect on the horses or strange looking ones? These are really creative horses – i have to say!!
Housefly on Horse
This is horse that echoes constant winning!! The housefly in Chinese literally sounds “ALWAYS WINNING” hence, to be placed on the horse – where Horse itself is equated literally as “RIGHT NOW”, this duo combo comes so so so close as in “ALWAYS WINNING RIGHT NOW”!! Wow constant immediate victory – indeed it really sounds very auspicious. So hard to miss it haha.
Monkey on Horse
Another one in this case, the monkey which again literally sounds like “Marquis or Nobleman in ancient Chinese times”. Hence on the horse, you can expect the person who place this horse on his table to be a Marquis IMMEDIATELY!! It would be a very nice gift for those on the climb in their career ladder to symbolise an immediate climb to a very high level.
Flying Horse
This i believe is one very creative adaptation of the SPEED factor especially in current times where being able to run fast is still not good enough –> You’ve gotta FLY !! Hence a flying success to your ambitions!
General on Horse
With the general, it symbolise wit & battlefield. Hence this horse figurine is suitable for those who are always in constant “battle” and in politics. The General might also give different meanings to figurine as a whole, as in this picture which shows General Kwan on Horse – can also represent Wealth as General Kwan is also regarded as God of Wealth, besides being God of Protection.
The Wind Horse
My favourite horse!! This picture is actually a personal collection which is gifted to me by a very dear Mongolian friend. The Wind Horse is actually a traditional Magic Horse that is used by King Gesar that brings about inner success chi or energy when being placed in the house or office. Hence I am really grateful and extremely delighted to have not only 1 but 2 of such precious and magical Horses arriving to my home that day all the way from Mongolia. Indeed they bring so much goodwill, auspiciousness and success to me and my family – Thank you my friend!
Chosen your favourite horse yet? Just go for one that you fall-in-love-at-first-sight as first you have gotta love it, then you will use it then the magic of Feng Shui will slowly unfold by itself.
In the meantime, stay GOOD LUCK always!
Cheers.
